This is with SAGA at Huelva - Costa De La Luz (South West - near the Portugal border)

This is a full package holiday (which many prefer) with SAGA and includes optional Travel Insurance included on generous underwriting terms. If you have annual travel cover then a price reduction of £54 is available.

Basic details:-
19th March, 14 nights All Inclusive, to 2nd April 2020 for £1169 - single supplement £63
Based on BA flight from Gatwick - flights from Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Birmingham, Luton & Bristol are available and Saga will book these (via Easyjet and Jet2) as and when places are requested. These are, of course, subject to availability so the sooner we can book the better.

This holiday also includes 4 complimentary excursions
Bookings will have to be direct with SAGA (but through me first so they are part of the Bridge Group) Bridge fees will have to be paid direct to me as they cannot collect more than the holiday price and transfer the difference. Neither can I collect your money and send on to them.

Saga are well experienced in dealing with the "discerning clientele's” requirements so I am sure all arrangements/facilities should adequately meet our needs.

The standard holiday price including optional travel insurance is £1,169.00 per person

The standard holiday price excluding optional travel insurance is £1,125.00 per person

A summary of the optional travel insurance cover and additional cancellation rights can be found within the Essential Information page at the back of all our brochures or online at

5* Amilia Mare Hotel

(Listed as 5* personally I would rate it as 4*)

Flight options :-

Flights – regionals are available from Cardiff; Birmingham: Liverpool: Stansted: Luton: Manchester and East Midlands.  I can package these with a supplement where applicable or guests can book independently.  If guests can book early we can probably secure regionals at very low sups .

09 Oct  Gatwick 13.25  Rhodes 19.35
23 Oct Rhodes 20.30 Gatwick   22.45

1)      Location – very good , lovely, sandy, private beach, good for swimming in Oct.  Noddy train/ bus  can be booked as a low cost to go to Kalithea Springs or Rhodes Town, which is a 15 min drive.  There is a strip of cafes , restaurants and shops opposite hotel.  Rhodes town is worthy of a few visits.
2)      Rooms – very good  and spacious , large balconies. The £5 pppn sea view supplement is worth the upgrade, but land facing views are also pleasant and many get good sun in morning and early afternoon.
3)      All inclusive value – food is average, typical of many all-inclusive hotels but readily available by pool and in restaurant – and hotel  will allow group to book speciality restaurants in time to start bridge after
4)      Drink package is good – good quality drinks and cocktails served in pleasant bar and terraces until midnight , great for group to socialise after evening bridge
5)      Bridge facilitiess very good – choice of meeting rooms to use exclusively.
6)      Good range of onsite facilities and activities.

Cyprus – Paphos 22nd Jan 2020

Athena Royal Beach (excluding flights!)

For those who did not join us a couple weeks ago - the hotel met with universal acclaim, and pretty much a demand that we return!

I never thought we would find somewhere better than the Phaethon! - but the Athena was head and shoulders above. (staff, food, bridge room and the hotel itself) The package includes 2 meals per week in the A la Carte Restaurant - something many took full advantage of.

The Bowls facilities are international standard and 2nd to none. There are a number of outdoor greens and an indoor one - all excellent quality. The package includes 7 x 2 hour sessions. Additional use is available for a small charge.

The hotel have their own Travel Agents - CONSTANT TRAVEL. I approached them, but because we booked via Arena they will not do an independent deal. They regard Arena as one of their preferred partners. The deal offered for next year is:-

I am pleased to advise that I am able to get availability for the Athena Royal Beach Hotel from Wednesday 22 Jan 2020 for 14 nights – with only a small increase in price.

We can get  ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE for the cost of the full board package again ( which represents a saving of 18 euros per day), and this time  I have built this into the package for everyone.

EASYJET AND Ryan Air are not yet on sale for January 2020, and are likely to be the best choice and prices for most departure airports.  (like this year).  Historically Easyjet fly on Wednesdays from most of their UK airports.

TUI has flights already on sale from Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Birmingham and Manchester – but generally TUI are more expensive.  Jet2 also already have flights on sale from Birmingham, Manchester and Stansted at a more realistic costs.

If a number want Gatwick for example Arena can look at packaging flights if it is requested by anyone.

14 nights  ultra all-inclusive  £1200  (includes bridge - Arena’s price £1149)
Single sup - £10 per night - £140 = £1340
Full sea view – £9 per person per night

I am holding an option for 30 rooms to sell as double or sole occupancy.  ( 20 mountain view and 10 sea view).
Included is a bridge room for 12 tables and 7 sessions of bowls.

Deposit excluding flight is £200 per person.
